CoorItalia is an Architectural Products company founded in 2001. We serves the High End Residential and Commercial Construction market. We are proud of our work and want to keep importing the most prestigious European Architectural & Design traditions to the United States. The showroom, located in San Francisco, accommodates two different divisions: the Architectural Elements and the Windows and Doors.
CoorItalia helps clients achieve a space that reveals both needs and personality. Our team coordinates the whole production cycle: from the initial design and the specialized and unique sourcing, through all manufacturing phases, until final and post installation. We tie the client, the artisan and the builder into one.
Our Team for Windows & Doors
CoorItalia Windows & Doors has always satisfied the requirements of the most demanding clients that want to distinguish their projects with units made of hardwood, steel, or architectural bronze. The Windows and Doors we sell are technologically ahead of the curve in terms of materials and production, but we retain the flexibility be it in size, shape or operation for extreme customization requests.
The Windows & Doors Division is composed of Alessio, Alex, Steve, Marco, and Jim.
Alessio, the Founder.
Born in Brindisi, Italy, Alessio has a Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Management. Passionate about art, photography, and design, he started working in the architectural materials supply industry in 1997, after he arrived in the US.
“My main goal is to source and to produce what the client is looking for and work with clients on all stages, from the initial phase throughout installation.”
Alessio builds deep and trustworthy relationships with manufacturers, architects, designers, artisans, and builders, and he is always looking for authentic and sustainable values in every aspect of his work.
Alex grew up in Italy, from British parents, and was educated at the University of Virginia. He has an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan. He brings know-how and efficiency to the office everyday. At CoorItalia since 2008, he wears all the other non-sales hats, from CFO to CIO with frequent forays into COO roles.
“The passion for the product is very unique at CoorItalia, it runs through everything we do. This allows us to always give our best to the clients and collaborators.”
Alex’s technological and organizational skills, along with his extensive management experience, are crucial and made of him the company’s mentor. His interests include looking after seals and sea lions at the Marine Mammal Center, consulting on projects for the Taproot Foundation, and long walks on the beach with his wife and Scrumpy, their “miniature” Great Dane.
Steve, VP of Sales for the Windows and Doors division.
Born and raised in Malibu, Steve has been devoted to the design and sales of custom doors and windows for the Elite estates of the world. He has sustained relationships with renowned architects and builders over the many years due to his expertise, discretion, and personal service.
“My work has encompassed all architectural types, from contemporary to historic buildings for owners who demand and receive only the best service and exquisite custom products.”
Steve has also added to his repertoire services and products for other unique building materials such as artisan steel (gates, railings, entries etc.) His weekends, when he has the time, includes off-road dirt biking and other motor related hobbies.
Marco, Responsible for Northern California.
Born in Asti, Italy, Marco has a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He grew up in Italy and visited the US for the first time when he was 17 years old and fell in love with California. He moved to the Golden State in 2001 and joined CoorItalia as the first employee in 2005. His previous experiences in design, purchasing and sales for important Italian firms made him a perfect fit for CoorItalia, which requires all those skills in order to successfully develop, sale, and manage a project.
“The work at CoorItalia is never boring and repetitive; you always meet new people and you go from the initial stages of discussing the project with the client to develop the technical aspects of it and manage the project, until you finally see and touch the result of all the work when the goods are finally delivered.”
Marco loves playing and watching sports, gardening, enjoying good food and wine (coming from Italy that is a must) and spending the most time possible with his two sons and wife.
Jim, Project Manager.
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Jim has lived in Arizona, California, and Germany. He has a wide construction background that has focused mainly on carpentry. He has managed many small to large building projects and has experience in working with foreign fenestration manufacturers.
“I like my behind-the-scenes role focusing on sales support and helping keep all the little details straight. I thrive on perfection and making customers happy.”
Jim’s private interests include parenting, fine carpentry, cooking, gardening, surfing, hiking, and biking.
