Hopper Awning

Hopper and Awnings are simply Casement units flipped on their side. Instead of having the hinges vertically they are placed on the top horizontal header frame to make an Awning and on the bottom frame to make a Hopper. An Awning can swing outwards (more common) or inwards, whereas a Hopper only opens inwards. Usually they are operated with a stick, or with a crank system or can be motorized.
