CS 68 is a thermally improved three-chamber system for windows and doors that boasts the optimum combination of high insulation levels and optimal safety. Double butt strips between the frame and vent and lowered drainage ensure superior wind and water tightness.
The system is available in a variety of different insertions and aesthetic styles: Functional, Renaissance (RE) and Hidden Vent (HV) — this way the windows can match your building style perfectly.
The Renaissance RE design adds a more traditional classic look to the profile.
The HV design option is based on an extended frame profile, which covers the opening vent profile. This masks the fact that it’s an opening window. The profile can be made to match the height of any other profile, for example fixed CS 68 windows. The HV solution is only available as inward opening.
In spite of its simple design, the system still reaches requirements of most US states. A fixed window can (with Argon and the right type of triple glazing) reach a U-factor as low as 0.18. For a higher insulation system, we can offer you the CS77 which offers better NFRC certified insulation values.
The window system offers a range of solutions for inward and outward opening windows and is compatible with the Ventalis ventilation units. In addition, CS 68 windows offers a high level of security.
NFRC Certified, Title 24 Approved.
Values depending on glazing solution adopted but start at a U-factor of Values for U-factor of .17 and SHGC of .17 for a fixed window, U-factor of .30 and SHGC of .13 for a casement window,
